Re: Labeling equations with multiple lines #Equations

This worked but it labels every line of the equation instead of just the last one. Would this be a problem or is it okay? Thank you for your help!

Yes, Mindtouch was down this morning (I could not get to it), but this
issue is still ongoing. I was sort of just alerting you/everyone, it
is like when I hit save it is wanting to give me the option of
downloading an html file and save it on my computer, but it does
appear to be saving things.(I checked with a different browser, as I
am now getting a slightly different message, saying it was saved to my
browser's cache).

Does anyone know what is going on?

I remember something like this once before, but think it resolved itself.

Try \begin{align} instead.

Hello Pat!
Thank you for finding this bug for us! Common Cartridges only accept two levels of hierarchy, so our previous algorithm for creating Common Cartridges was erroneously not processing subtopics pages. Even though the new update of the code won't be live until later this week due to needing more testing, I have attached a new version of the Common Cartridge that should include both the topics and subtopics. What this does is compresses up subtopics so that the LMS sees it as a regular topic page. I have also included a photo of what the new file looks like when imported into Canvas, subtopics and all!

I apologize - I had missed Delmar's response...

Not all content being exported

pbmac

I have a book I remixed in LibreText from a book that was imported by the LibreText team. I simply broke it down into smaller units so as to have smaller pages in Canvas.

The problem is that not all the content gets export/imported. LibreTexts has:

I broke Chapter 1 into 4 units....1.1A, 1.1B etc....but nothing other than the 1.1 Introduction to Information Systems appears in Canvas. If I am on the 1.1 page and I click on the Canvas "Next" button it takes me to 1.2 NOT 1.1A.

Canvas does not see the other pages - 1.1A,  1.2A etc...ONLY 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 NOE of the sub pages

So the remixed version of this book is unusable unless there is some part of the process I am not aware of. I have reverted back to the original imported book...which is okay, but am curious about this issue and the one I brought up last week about the student using the forward and previous links in the exported material and how that behaves differently than using the Canvas Previous/Next arrows.

Any thoughts or feedback in regards to using these exports with Canvas??

We can probably hide the LT directional links if the page is viewed via an iframe (e.g., via canvas). We will look into this, but it won't be changed before classes start for you.

In Canvas I click on 1.1 Introduction to Information Systems in the Modules list and I see:

If I use the Canvas "Next" button at the lower right:

It moves to the Next page and all is well....not a problem.
BUT
if I click on the 1.1.A Components of an Information system portion of the screen from LibreTexts

Then my students will see - In addition to the 1.1A material - all of the navigation bar from the LibreTexts web site:

I hope this provides a bit more clarity....
