Tables...top justify content??

Seems that the data in my tables is always always justified vertically centered...I would like it to be top justified...but I can't figure out.

What am I missing??

I made an account for you on the H5P server (look for an email). The steps need to be a little streamlined, but you can review them here:

You can create it in a free account, either the H5P official one or LibreText’s account, if you have access.  Then we can add it into the LibreText H5P server and link to it from your textbook.

I just watched the video from Open Education Week. How do I gain the access necessary to publish H5P content in my LibreText courses? Do I need to have a paid account on H5P, or is it enough to work through the LibreText account?

Hi, Pat!

It appears that we can use the Libretext H5P server to create H5P content as well as to host it there for inclusion in our books.  Please ask Delmar if you do not yet have an account on this server and wish to create content on it.  You’ll need an account if you wish to upload content there anyway, unless they have another process in place to handle this.

But so far I have used my account on h5p.org to create and edit content that I then downloaded and then uploaded onto the Libretext H5P server.  Then it’s fairly straight-forward to link these into a page of a LibreText.

The nice thing about using that server is that there is a lot of documentation and there are many examples shown there.

H5P is exciting to use, but I can’t speak from much experience yet.  I have created only a few of these H5P questions so far.

Re: Changing Title Deletes Redirects #bugs

Ignore it. That is basically saying that there was a page with that URL that you are creating and there is a "hidden redirect" so that any browser that goes to that URL will get redirected to a new one. You will be deleting that redirect and that is the warning. For a new book, don't worry about this issue.

One or more redirects will be deleted if you continue. This may negatively impact your site and SEO. Please contact MindTouch support.

Does anyone know what causes this? How do I proceed?

Re: Collaboration on book

Let me answer both your questions.

To give others access they will need UserIDs. If they have them go to your sandbox, pull down the OPTIONS menu, and select restrict access.

On the page which appears you can give them permission to edit (I would give them EDITOR privileges) by entering their UserIDs. Be sure to check the box at the bottom propagating the permission through all linked pages.

On the second question, you would be better off using the remixer on your book because this will properly renumber the figures, etc. which otherwise you would have to do by hand.

Is there a way to edit the page URLs in order to move pages around? Or is there a better method to move pages in a chapter?

Thanks

Re: Using LibreText development as part of online instruction spring 2020

Dawn Sumner

Hi Delmar,

I"m still trying to use my group study class to develop the textbook, but I need more information.

Also, all of my notes from last year are no longer visible, and my Sed/strat page is linked to an oceanography text book, and other things are messed up. I can find all my old pages, but I can't get them to appear under any of the topic headings. I've tried moving them, but the only way they can be found is going from one article to the next - which at the end jumps to Tessa's oceanography.

It seems like my account gets messed up at the end of every quarter. Is it normal? Or is it because it is a very, very old account with hidden permissions or settings or something?

Thanks with desperation...
Dawn
