tables
Robert Belford
I wish to make this table here (table 6.5.1) have borders around the cells, and can't seem to do that. Any advice? https://chem.libretexts.org/Courses/University_of_Arkansas_Little_Rock/Chem_1402%3A_General_Chemistry_1_(Belford)/Text/6%3A_The_Structure_of_Atoms/6.5%3A_The_Modern_View_of_Electronic_Structure#Naming_Orbitals It is not in the construction guide thanks, -- Bob Dr. Robert E. Re: Remixed text footnotes/references keep old numbering system

Thanks for pointing this out. When students transfer material
numbering of references, figure numbers, and similar often end up
being hard coded in as in this text. In your edited page you can
simply change "28" to "1" so it doesn't look so strange. On 9/23/2019 9:32 PM, Dawn Sumner

ok. We need to solidify our internal referencing system, especially when coupled with the Remixer. We have played with different approaches. I won't have a quick answer for you, but we will get it completed soon. Delmar On 9/24/2019 11:14 AM, Dawn Sumner

Lack Permission to use Remixer
#remix
I worked through my Remixing Map and then pulled all of the parts into the OER Remixer. When I tried to "Publish your LibreText", I got an error that I was using it in "Demonstration Mode" and I don't have permission to use it.
I did try to log in with my geo.libretext username and password, and it said my login failed. Thus, I created a new account, with the same username. That should have clued me in, I guess. Anyway, can I have permission to use OER Remixer soon? It's for my fall class, which starts on Thursday. Thanks Dawn

issue with hypothes.is in LibreText
Robert Belford
Hi All, I am having an issue reading annotations at the bottom of chapter landing pages, the code I am using is this and the scroll bar does not work. <p><iframe frameborder="1" height="400px" scrolling="yes" src="https://hypothes.is/search?q=tag:f19c1402c1b;" width="100%"></iframe></p> (I just took out the <p> </p> and that did not fix it) I can get to the missing annotation from here (and it was an exemplar), but that is the long way about or here Now if I go to my Drupal IoCT site, the bottom of this page does have a box and the scroll bar does work The code I am using is: <p><iframe frameborder="1" height="400px" scrolling="yes" src="https://hypothes.is/search?q=py08ualrf2018" width="100%"></iframe></p> Does anyone have an idea why the scroll bar does not work in LT, but works in Drupal? Re: Formatting code references not originally styled as code
#Formatting
On my menu there is a 'code' format. It isn't part of the drop-down menu, but part of the menu that rests above, select 'format' and then 'code' and see if that changes to a monospace font.

bad, it is really a shame that science is gated and not available to any but the elite. (This is not a rant, ... I was thinking that since the image was on a site that appears to be affiliated with the UN, it might be open access, but I was wrong). None-the-less, I will contact them and see what happens. Formatting code references not originally styled as code
#Formatting
Ethan Turner
Hi all, I hope I'm asking this in the right place. I'm integrating a Java programming textbook and have been running into some uncertainties in formatting. In the original book, the author uses bold text to highlight important phrases and a blue monospaced style for code in paragraphs. However, a different font is used to reference certain parts of the code without actually styling it as code. I've attached a screenshot to try and illustrate what I'm describing (null is in the monospaced style, and words like size, target, Node, and data are in the different font).
Any thoughts on how to format this? So far, I've stuck to using bold for those words as well. Should LaTeX be used to make them stand out better? Best, Ethan

LT account for Grad Student
Robert Belford
Hi Delmar,
Do we still go through you for setting up LT accounts? Kumari is a grad student of Shanzi and she has been helping him with the biochemistry textbook. She was going to also help us with the workshop in Fayetteville, and I thought it would be prudent to get her her own account. I am ccing her, but her email and name are Kumari Karn <kvkarn@ualr.edu> . Can you set her up so she can create content? (She has been using Shanzi's login, and I think she should have her own). That is great. I made is semi-public so that it will work, but no one can see it. If you like, we can print the book and bind it via luluexpress and you can edit/review that way instead of individual pages. It may take 7-9 days though. Delmar On 9/4/2019 1:37 PM, David Harvey

Creating PDF files
David Harvey
I have completed the initial work on the textbook (Analytical Chemistry 2.1) located here
https://chem.libretexts.org/Under_Construction/Users/DTH I would like to convert the chapters into individual PDF files so that I can do a final review while reading them from on my iPad where I can annotate final corrections (particularly of equations). When I click on the PDF button I get the following message: This page is not publicly accessible. I assume this has something to do with where the text is stored or its permissions. Is there anyway to convert it into a PDF prior to making it fully public? David
